Tschutti Heftli
The idea for the “Tschuttiheftli” (“tschutten” is Swiss German for “kick”) was born in 2008, when the cultural supporting program for the European Championship in Switzerland was cancelled. It started with an initial print run of 1000 copies per sticker. The first two albums in 2008 and 2010 were a complete success – the current print run stands at two million stickers. The approach and goal have remained the same: Artistic freedom in the design as well as a sign against the well-known Panini glossy albums, which for the “Tschuttiheftli” makers are a symbol of the commercialization of soccer.
In the current album of the Tschutti Heftli, there is now a platform for teams that usually only have an extra role. Namely the 5 weakest teams in Europe according to the FIFA ranking. They are repeatedly involved in the European Championship and World Cup qualifiers, but are usually only seen as points suppliers.
This is now changing and the five teams shine in the spotlight at the beginning of the album! I have portrayed Roy Chipolina as a representative of Team Gibraltar.
