Hello, I’m a freelance illustrator, communication designer, artist and cofounder of büro ident, a Cologne based design studio. I am working for several national and international agencies, publishing companies, industrial clients and partners, focussing on illustration. At the same time I am concentrating on büro u-53-projects since founding the studio more than ten years ago. Its activity ranging from corporate design and advertising to webdesign, exhibitiondesign, and continuing illustration as major skill. My work has appeared in magazines, newspapers, advertising, catalogues, at packagings, glasses, trade fair stands and many more. I graduated at Bergische Universität Wuppertal and studied communication design. Professors: Günther Kieser (jazz and musician posters), Bazon Brock (theory of art) and Gerd Aretz (designer of postal stamps). I participated in numerous group exhibitions and was presented in different solo exhibitions.

From 2016 until 2020 I was teaching as lecturer at Ecosign – academy of sustainable design.
